*Laughs out loud*... 3 weeks of lag again... Life just doesn't slow down. Yea yea, they always say, "time waits for no man", "everyone has 24 hours a day". But, why can't I get enough of it? Papa says I need to plan my time, come up with a detailed one and stick to it. I just can't, always procrastinating, don't even wanna try again 'cos i failed so many times before...

Just a few weeks ago, I received the biggest blow in my life. Grades: B U B U U. Yes!~ *BooBoo!* Totally freaked out for awhile, but I'm back on track again! (I hope...) I mean, I've never failed any form of examination before, much less 3 in a row.

And last week, I finally got over it!~ Yes... The National A Cappella Championships '06! Sounds cooL right, but it was a failure for our team haha... Nevertheless, I never regretted joining the team, having all those great times together singing our hearts out, and of course, that fateful and painful, yes, Painful ending, where I learnt my lesson.

Our group, M18, took 2 days off school on Wednesday and Thursday (19/7 and 20/7) to lock ourselves in a room in Coasta Sands Resort behind Downtown East to practice for the event on Thursday night. There, we learnt a new song Break Away by Kelly Clarkson which was suppose to replace Our Story by Tension as it didn't sound nice. We also practiced our main hit Lady Marmalade (Yes, our group leader Jeremy turned us into prostitutes) .

Despite the efforts we put in, it just didn't turn out right, it was a total disaster. We were used to very loud microphones as we couldn't sing very loudly with our head voice (falsetto) to reach those high notes. The competition microphones cannot be adjusted and we couldn't even hear ourselves. We can only blame ourselves for being under prepared. Jeremy even argued with our vocal percussionist Isaac right before the competition which brought the whole team spirit down. Damn sad la... =( ... You can feel it too right... =D

Haha, so much for sad stuff. Another cool thing about the competition was that everyone is a winner!~ There was the 1st place... 2nd place... and... Everyone else gets third!~ hee... That means there was five 3rd places in our college category!~ haha... cute right... Come to think of it, the time and effort didn't go to waste because I learnt a lot! (which I don't know how to put in words haha...)

Aiyo, it's only less than 10 weeks away to promos!~ And exactly 1 week away from my piano exams!~ Really must settle down, be a nerd, mug and mug and mug after my piano exams. I'm lagging badly. Haven't even read through much of my notes this term, much less complete my tutorials. Damn, where did all my motivation go!~ Argh...

So much angst...

Heh… It really feels good to list out stuff to talk about since I always wreck my brains to think about something to write about. AlrighT!~ I’ll take my time to write about the above in random order (although they were placed in chronological order…=D). So, especially to those who have been chasing me to update, even threatening to “jump out of my closet and raid everything in my fridge”, here goes!~
