「 dancing away 11:20 pm 」

I do not know if things have started to turn for the better or the worse. There is no longer any time left for me to laze around anymore, but it’s amazing that I can still find time to do so. Within these few upcoming weeks, tests are coming up to consolidate what we have learnt so far. Furthermore after that, what separates us from the block tests are just the mid-year holidays. Hopefully, I would be able to properly utilize this one full month to prepare myself for the block tests.

Today, we had a very interesting CT session with our caring and fun-loving civics tutor Miss Tengara. Our class was gathered in a classroom instead of the usual auditorium and we were told to write letters to ourselves which would be sent back to us at the end of the year. At first, I found it extremely meaningless to do so. However, as everyone settled down to write, I also started to pen my thoughts. Slowly, I started to find meaning in the exercise. It was an avenue to list down my current situation, my goals, my obstacles etc. It makes me realise where I really stand and what I need to do, fast.

I was surprised when Miss Tengara released us early from the classroom and told us to join her for tea at the canteen. There, she told us more about her upcoming wedding during the June holidays. We could see that everything was already planned out right down to every little detail and she was waiting patiently for the time to come. By showing so much interest in her wedding, it seemed that we were even more excited about it than she was. Miss Tengara even went on to answer questions posed by Yumin as to how she met her fiancée, how love blossomed and how he proposed to her etc. Time flew by and it was time for us to leave for our various CCAs.

Later during choir practice, our work plan was given out to us showing exactly what we need to do for the following two months. Upon reading the schedule, I feel excited yet even more stressed at the same time. In the week ahead, we have to complete our banner painting and prepare various songs for the publicity stunt we would be performing during assembly over the bridge. This would kick start the advertising for our upcoming choir concert located at Victoria Concert Hall. Furthermore, practice sessions have become more frequent and it all just adds up together with my academic worries.

It’s all just a challenge. Here I come!~
