Argh...my hands just won't move. Seen lots of it, but never tried it. Well, there's always a first, so here goes...
Just three more days to go, and my wheel of life turns a wee-bit quicker. After four years of fooling around with the boys, it's time for co-ed! As they all say, there's a both the good and bad to things... In this case, there's more good than bad I guess... Wait, is there even a bad side to it?
As for the good side of the coin, girls are girls, boys are boys. So wouldn't having a mix of both make a whole?
Yup, there's the bad side. I'd miss those things we use to do in class which would have been impossible with Them around. You know... Bonding*... "Mongol Wrestling"**... even making some noise would seem funny with girls around.
Speaking about girls, they took up two full assemblys where we sat in the auditorium watching interviews with girls from other schools on how gentlemanly Hwa Chong Institution (High School Section) boys a.k.a. Chinese High boys are. For me, I wouldn't say it was a waste of time. This was actually REAL feedback from the REAL people... In the end, I can't say I came out a better person. But, I realise that it is really a you-are-what-you-act world out there. Girls really do go for those little actions here and there. I mean...yea, every little bit counts, but I never really thought it counted That much. They want you to pull out chairs, open doors, do the ladies-first thinggie for 'em. Bah...humbug...
Come to think of it, I'm really, really gonna miss my secondary school days... Really miss it you know... When you get into junior college, the whole atmosphere changes... its just so saddenin'! I can't speak like I know, but its true! Everyone, boys Or girls, they just aren't their normal selves. For boys its actin' cool, serious, for many its unconscious, reason Obviously being that girls are around. For girls, they'll probably do the like in their vast range of attractive behaviors. Why can't everyone be themselves? Just like me? jkjk... haha... Damn it, why am I thinkin' so much, just live life to the fullest! Just like what Bobby McFerrin sang "Don't Worry, Be Happy!".
Well, imma going for a relatives gatherin' tomorrow at Pasir Ris Beach... Really hope I'll do well in "Taboo"***, "Win, Lose or Draw", the list goes on...
* - Stripping a poor target down to his briefs. The more the struggle, the more the fun...
** - It's basically Judo for noobs and carried out on the cold hard floor of the classroom...
*** - In "Win, Lose or Draw" you can't talk or act. Here, you're not allowed to act nor say The word...
